Within minutes, ₹50,000 was transferred from their account. The victim immediately contacted the bank and filed a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in. The bank froze the account and initiated an investigation.

A working professional was lured into a cryptocurrency investment scheme promising 200% returns. After investing ₹2 lakhs, the platform disappeared. A job seeker received an offer from a fake company asking for ₹15,000 as "registration fee" to secure a position. After payment, the company stopped responding. The victim filed a complaint, and the fake website was taken down. However, the money was not recovered.
